Schererville, IN – June 14, 2010 – Aaron McDermott, CCIM has been appointed to serve in the Legislative Affairs Subcommittee for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) 14 member national Board during 2011.

As one of 12 Members at Large for the Legislative Affairs Sub-Committee, Mr. McDermott will be responsible for helping establish CCIM’s position on public policy and institutional affair issues related to commercial and investment real estate. The committee also monitors legislative and regulatory activity and reports the information back to CCIM.

Mr. McDermott is the founder and President of Latitude Commercial. Latitude Commercial is a full-service Commercial Real Estate brokerage firm specializing in Northern Indiana and the South Suburbs of Chicago. The CCIM institute confers the CCIM designation and is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). They provide education and networking for commercial real estate brokers and is widely considered one of the top designations in Commercial Real Estate.
